CHECK LIST FOR EVENT COORDINATORS
The following check list has been developed to assist in scheduling a Women's Night Out. We are hoping to have a different woman coordinate this each month so we can get more women involved, keep our group going, and not overburden anyone. If you have any questions or need some assistance, please feel free to contact Denise or Martha using the contact information at the top of the screen.
1. Make reservations with the restaurant you choose for 7 pm on the first Thursday of the month.
_If our group could have a separate room or separate area, that would be great.
_We have been trying to schedule restaurants north of UUC on the even-numbered months and restaurants south of UUC on the odd-numbered months. But wherever you decide is fine.
2. Develop a brief announcement about the event, including:
'UUC Women's Night Out,' date & time, restaurant name & address w/zipcode, your contact info (your phone and email if possible) for RSVP and the RSVP last date to respond.
3. Email your announcement to the following:
_Website: Send the announcement to the Webmaster. Within a day of being received, the announcement will appear on the 'Women's Night Out' page of the website, which can be reached via a link on the home page. Have a look.
_Weekly Bulletin: Send the announcement to the Weekly Bulletin, by 10 am on Wednesday the week before our event and again the week of the event.
_Order of Service: Send the announcement to the the Order of Service, by midnight on Tuesday evening the week before our event.
_Also, please send the announcement to Denise Seeber about one week before the RSVP is due and she will email it to all the women on our email distribution list.
4. Notify the restaurant of the final count after you receive the RSVPs.
5. Send a thank you card to the restaurant, if you like. Denise has cards for this.
