- Keeps in touch with home bound members and provides assistance and support to members and families as needs arise. Assists ministers in providing pastoral care and support. Learn more

Community Builders Program

- Assists new UUC members in becoming active in their areas of interest. Maintains the UUC member database and produces photo and email directories twice each year. Learn more

Covenant Group Program

- Designed to foster connection and caring among its members this “Small Group Ministry” program provides an avenue for personal growth and spiritual development. Groups of 8-12 meet monthly. Participation is open to all who are part of the UUC community. Learn more

Denominational Affairs

- Provides liaison to UUA, Florida District, West Central Cluster of UU Congregations, The Pines Retreat Center, The Mountain in North Carolina and other denominational groups. Informs the congregation about issues and opportunities of note. Learn more

Facebook Page Administrator

- Updates and posts UUC information on the Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater Facebook Page.

Finance Committee

- Oversees the congregation's finances, advises the Board and prepares each year's annual budget. Learn more

Flowers

- Arranges for flowers to be in the sanctuary for Sunday Services. Learn more

Hospitality/Receptions Team

- Arranges for members to prepare and serve coffee and refreshments during the social hour after Sunday Services, and arranges for special receptions when asked. Learn more

Interweave

- A group of individuals that meets regularly to support the GLBT community both within UUC and the larger world.

Leadership Coordinating Group

- This group's purposes are to provide training for committee/program leaders, to assist them in defining their missions, working with the president and president elect in recruiting committee/program leaders and providing advice on committee operations. Learn more

Leadership Development Program

- Provides training for lay members of the congregation in being effective leaders in our UU religious community.

Library

- The Anastasia Maxwell Library, located in the Social Hall, is open to UUC members and friends on weekdays and on Sundays after services. Learn more

Men’s Group

- Provides opportunities for men to socialize on a regular basis and to work together for the good of the congregation. The men serve an all-church Pancake Breakfast twice a year, have a weekend retreat each year at 'UU in the Pines' near Brooksville, and meet monthly for BEER (Brothers Engaged in Esoteric Repartee). Music Committee

- Supports the congregation's Adult Chorale and Children's Choir and advises the Music Director. Learn more

Nominating Committee

- Reports to the congregation annually, its list of nominees to fill open positions on the Board of Trustees (including its President, Treasurer, Secretary, three Trustees and two Alternates), the Chair of the Committee on Ministry, and the next Chair of Nominating Committee. Learn more

Office Team

- Works with the Office Administrator to train and support volunteers who assist in the UUC Office. Learn more

Open Issues Program

- Arranges for speakers to speak on topics of general interest, on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am, in the Patio Room of the UUC Social Hall. Learn more

Pastoral Associates

- Provides support for UUC members who are in need of pastoral care.

Planned Giving Program

- Educates the congregation on ways to financially support our mission and encourages gifts for this purpose. Provides information on favorable tax treatment of such gifts, legal requirements, insurance, wills and trusts. Learn more

Property Committee

- Maintains and repairs the congregation's buildings, equipment and grounds. We depend on volunteers to do much of the work. Much of our facility is available for renting. Learn more

Publicity Coordinator

- Develops press releases on major events and activities. Works to keep the congregation in the public's attention. Assist committees and teams in promoting their events both internally and externally. Use this Form to send your publicity requests to the Publicity Committee and other media outlets.

Religious Education - Adults

- Conducts a range of educational programs for adults throughout the year. Learn more

Religious Education - Children

- Develops curriculum and programs, recruits teachers and others to offer an outstanding liberal religious experience for the congregation's children and their parents. Assists the Religious Education Program Coordinator 's activities. Learn more

Sunday Services Team

- Works closely with the Minister to assure that the Sunday morning services provide a meaningful worship experience. Also arranges for speakers during the summer and for Sundays when the Minister is not leading the service. Learn more

Social Activities

- Plans and organizes fun activities throughout the year, including "Open Houses," "Circle Suppers," seasonal celebrations, etc.

- The Social Justice Council is currently being reorganized. The Social Justice Empowerment Workshop, designed to aid in the reorganization effort, is scheduled for October 23, 2010. The purpose of the workshop is to allow our UUC congregational members to assess the quality of our social justice program. It is an opportunity for us to consider what we are doing as an institution to create a more just and caring world. During the workshop we will reflect upon what we can do as a religious community to put our faith into practice. Learn more

Special Events Coordinator

- Arranges for special events when asked. Learn more

Stewardship Team

- Educates and motivates the congregation to be good stewards of our mission. Conducts the canvass each spring to solicit annual financial pledges from members and friends of the congregation. Learn more

Strategic Planning Task Force

- Established by the Congregation at the Annual Meeting in May, 2011. This task force has responsibility for developing a strategic plan to be presented to the congregation during the current fiscal year.

Tech Team

- Provides lighting, audio and visual technical support for Sunday Services and other events in the Octagon. Learn more

Usher Coordinator

- Arranges for ushers for Sunday Services to greet people, to provide assistance as needed and to take up the offertory collection during the service. Learn more

UU 40+ Singles Program

- A program of the church that provides a safe and caring space for singles of ages 40 and above to come together to socialize and build friendships. Learn more

Ways and Means Team

- Is responsible for organizing fund raising events throughout the year. Learn more

Welcoming Committee

- Assists those who visit UUC in learning about the traditions of Unitarian Universalism and encourages those who are interested in becoming active members of the congregation. The committee offers frequent informational meetings and formal educational classes about membership in our UU religious community. Learn more
